resize - ExtJS Window not resizable over certain width/height

Question

extJS 6.5.3 classic version

I am creating an Ext.Window like so

Ext.create('Ext.window.Window', {
            title: title,
            height: 600,
            width: 1000,
            layout: 'fit',
            resizable: true,
        });

Problem is, that resizing is only possible up to a certain max width/height (screenshot). Setting a maxWidth/maxHeight seemed to have no effect at all.

Are there known restrictions in terms of a max width/height for a Ext.window.Window? How to overcome those? Could using a Ext.resizer.Resizer help/ could it be that its necesarry to override Ext.window.Window or sth else?
