storage - Where to store Data on Azure DSVM

Question

Hi I have some files I want to use for training.

I have enough space on the VM to store it directly onto it. However, my notebooks are in the ~/cloudfiles/code/Users/myname/ directory.

I could not find any answer to the following question in the Azure manual.

Is fast accsess also possible if I add the Data to ~/cloudfiles/code/Users/myname/(for easy access from the notebook and availability from different VMs) or should I leave it in e.g., /home
