what I would like to do:
sync local data with a google drive or onedrive as a backup but directly encrypt it so that google or microsoft have no way to see what is saved there.
what I have tried:
save a truecrypt container in the cloud (using the file stream sync assistant on windows) which I can then access by mounting it.
Problem:
I have to sync the entire size of the container each time I touch the data (Which is a lot)
Question:
is there a more clever way to go about achieving what I want to do?
