Use powershell to open group chat in lync

Question

I have written a powershell function that opens a chat with any user in lync.

It uses an ldap search to get the "msRTCSIP-PrimaryUserAddress" property from AD, then it executes:

& 'C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice16lync.exe' $sipAddress

I cannot manage to open chat groups this way, is there any way to open a chat window for a chat group using the lync client in powershell?
