How to access the r_basicprofile permission for Profile API LinkedIn

Question

My goal is to fetch the LinkedIn member's profile info like Name, Profile Picture, Certifications, Experience, etc.

After going through API documentation, I found out I need to use the Profile API with r_basicprofile permission. But looks like my user is not authorized to use this permission.

Can anyone please help me around this?
