This is not about how to install using .vsix files in general, but specifically for the C++ extension, which has a .vsix file for the main extension and additional platform specific .vsix files. I'm on a linux machine, so I think I care about the cpptools-.vsix and cpptools-linux-aarch64.vsix files. But on my offline machine, no matter which one I install it starts trying to download stuff from the internet, telling me to attempt repair, etc. etc. What is the procedure for installing these without vscode still getting angry about lack of internet connection?
.vsix
cpptools-.vsix
cpptools-linux-aarch64.vsix
