Appreciate any help for my issue as I'm new to AWS. I have scoured here and elsewhere (including AWS doc's) and can't seem to find an answer for logging into a new EC2 instance from my PC.
I had a previous Windows 2019 SQL core instance created where I was able to gain access with Remmina but I was root which isn't a good idea. So I created a user with admin rights (not sure what all the individual policies are to create and manage one) and spun up another one but now I get a lost connection when trying to connect. Instance is in running state, internet gateway attached, security group with 3389 (My IP) rule in place, public IPv4 address created, DNS hostnames and resolution enabled. For Remmina I have the Public IPv4 DNS string, username and password plugged in. Tried suggested change of security settings of NLA and TLS and changed color depth with no effect.
Can't figure what I'm missing.
