importing AWS secret values to spring project overrides properties files

Question

I have the following issue:

I got AWS secret keys that are being added as MapPropertySource to the ApplicationContext environments.

Also, I have properties files that are loaded using PropertySources annotation.

I want to have the following behaviour: if I have the same key in AWS secret, and properties file - then use the value in the properties file. Right now it's the other way around.

How can I do that?

Code example:

public class AWSSecretsListener implements ApplicationListener<ApplicationPreparedEvent> {

@Override
public void onApplicationEvent(ApplicationPreparedEvent event) {// here I load aws secrets values to the code}

and second file:

@Configuration()
@PropertySources({...})
public class ConfigInitializer { //code logic}
