Fake "Inconvertible types" error on OpenCV for Android; app builds successfully

Question

Following this tutorial, I installed OpenCV for Android 3.4.12. The app builds and works perfeclty, but I keep getting this red underlines:

It's REALLY annoying to have red marks in my code while I'm not making any mistake, as it constantly makes me feel paranoid I'm doing something wrong. Why does this happen? How can I fix it?
